About the Role:
Join LSM Outdoor Power powered By Spark Dealer Group, as a Controller and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies! Based in Burleson, TX, we are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about driving financial excellence and providing insightful analysis to support our growth. Spark Dealer Group is consolidating through acquisition of Outdoor Power Equipment Dealers in multiple states creating room for growth. We need a strong financial leader that can also manage a knowledgeable team of AP/AR individuals in this space.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk assessments.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to foster professional growth and development.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors for financial reviews.
- Enhance financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
- Inventory Business Knowledge
- Sales Tax
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
